A woolly welcome awaits you at The Wool Haven.

Our shelves are stocked with yarns in a variety of fibres, colours and weights. You will also find a selection of tools, patterns and accessories to help you along your way to create your perfect item.

We host workshops where you can learn new skills or develop existing ones and are always on hand for some friendly advice and yarn based chats.

Yarn

We have an ever increasing range of yarn in both natural fibres and acrylic from well known brands and independent dyers.

Rios is a worsted/aran weight yarn made from 100% Superwash Merino wool making it super soft and great for next-to-the-skin wear.

Arroyo is 100g of Superwash Merino Wool in DK/Sport weight and is perfect for everyday lightweight, but warm, garments.

Beautifully British yarn spun in Yorkshire

Bo Peep Dk is 52% Falkland Wool and 48%Nylon beautifully soft and machine washable. Available in fun colour palette of solid shades and prints, ideal for baby items and accessories

ColourLab available in DK and Aran weight in a wide range of colours and tweeds ColourLab is created from 100% British Wool.

Solstice is a beautiful 4ply yarn made from 70% Falkland Wool, 20% Lyocell and 10% Cashmere creating a light, luxurious and elegant yarn.

The Croft is available in aran weight and is made from 100% Shetland Islands Wool. The solid colours and tweed shades are named after towns and villages across the islands. .

Special DK is a premium acrylic yarn available in 120 shades and yes we do stock them all. We also stock a small range of Special Aran, their premium acrylic aran weight yarn.

Bambino print is a DK weight acrylic yarn available in muted colours, perfect for babies and adults alike.

Grace is a light aran yarn available in a selection of jewel tone colours. It is made of 85% Premium Acrylic 5% Wool 10% Mohair creating a beautifully soft fluffy yarn.

Armonia is a beautifully soft 4ply yarn made with 75% Superwash Superfine Merino and 25% nylon making it a perfect yarn for so many different projects from garments to colour work socks.

Kid Silk Mohair is made from 72% Mohair and 28% Silk and pairs perfectly with Armonia to add some “fluff” to your project.

Blend Bamboo is a 70% Bamboo 30% Cotton yarn in sport weight that can be used to create garments with a lovely drape, ideal for summer or those who like an alternative to wool.

Cotton No.8 is 100% cotton anti-pilling yarn that can be used for a wide range of projects and is ideal for amigurumi.
